SA Hot Chicken Public record

For restaurant owners

You cook. We handle the screens.

Viking Net is the company behind this guide. We build the technology side of restaurants in San Antonio — websites, ordering, registers, kitchen screens, inventory. No jargon, no year-long contract, and no, buying anything here does not move your Bird Score. That is the whole point of publishing the formula.

01

People search for you and find nothing

Your food is the reason people come back. A search result is the reason they come the first time. We build a fast site that loads on a phone in a parking lot, shows today's hours, and puts your menu where Google can actually read it.

You get: a website you own, set up so you turn up when somebody searches chicken near them.

02

You are paying two platforms to take one order

Delivery apps take a cut, then the online ordering service takes another, and the customer's name and phone number stay with them, not you. Your own ordering page takes the same order and keeps the customer.

You get: ordering that does not pay a middleman, and a list of your own regulars.

03

Your card processing fee is higher than it needs to be

Most restaurants are on a rate somebody set years ago and nobody has looked at since. We read your last three statements, find the actual effective rate you are paying, and tell you what it should be. If we cannot beat it we will say so.

You get: a straight answer on what your processing actually costs, before you change anything.

04

The register fights you during the rush

A point-of-sale should take an order in four taps and never lock up at seven on a Friday. We set one up around how your line actually moves, train your people on it, and answer the phone when it misbehaves.

You get: a register your new hire can run on day two.

05

Tickets get lost between the counter and the fryer

A kitchen display screen replaces the printer and the shouting. Orders appear in the order they need to be cooked, nothing gets buried under a rail of paper, and you can see how long a ticket has been up.

You get: fewer remakes and fewer walkouts, which is the same as money.

06

You find out you are out of chicken at 6pm

The system already knows what you sold. It can subtract from what you have and tell you what to order before you run out, instead of after. Same for the days you consistently over-order and throw away.

You get: a reorder list built from what you actually sold last week.

07

Posting takes an hour you do not have

Photograph the special once. It goes out to your pages on a schedule, at the times your people are actually on their phones, without you opening four apps after close.

You get: your accounts stay alive on the days you are too busy to post.

08

The second location does not run like the first

When you open number two, everything that lived in your head has to live in a system instead. Same menu, same prices, same recipes, same reports — and one screen showing both. Add a third and it is the same day-one setup, not a rebuild.

You get: a second location that opens on the system you already run, and books that add up across all of them.

How this works

Start with the statement, not the sales pitch.

Send us your last three card-processing statements and a link to wherever people order from you now. We will come back with what you are actually paying, what is costing you orders, and what we would do first. No charge for that, and no obligation after it.

If the answer is “you are already set up fine,” that is what we will tell you.

The firewall, stated plainly. We sell services to restaurants that appear on this list. So the ratings are built only from public health records and arithmetic anyone can rerun, and the formula is published in full on the methodology page. You cannot buy a Bird Score, you cannot buy a higher rank, and you cannot buy a low score off the site. If we ever change that, this paragraph comes down first.
